Working for Transocean as Qualified Rig Mover. Handling rig move operation in many rigs moves on different rig style as ML116C, 52C, & 82C. I'm currently assigned on Rig Transocean Honor (BMC 400) at PPL Shipyard, Singapore.Barge Master II: (From Nov. 2008 - Nov. 2009): Working for Transocean, Marine Department. I worked on Fried & Goldman L 780 with RPD's in Terengganu, Kuantan, and Kota Bharu, at Malaysia. My job responsibilities were supervising operation and maintenance of all equipment in area of responsibility to minimize downtime and major equipment failures. Assure vessel is in compliance with applicable government rules and regulations, government agencies, and regulatory bodies. Initiate request for renewal of documents, assure all documents, plans and notices are displayed as required and assure all vessel documents are in good order. Maintain safety and emergency equipment; fire fighting equipment, and seaworthiness of drilling units. Conduct all required inspections and drills other than those directly related to drilling functions. Complete submit and maintain company required paperwork. Co-ordinate work boats, and assure rig is properly loaded as to variable load capacity according to operational manual. Ensure daily stability calculations are completed and recorded and "light ship" record is current. Supervises the following under direction from rig mover during rig moves: Jacking operation, securing of tugs for towing, towing, and Pre-Loading. Co-ordinate Company Preventative Maintenance Programs in area of responsibility. Maintain housekeeping in my areas of responsibility including, Living quarters, Galley facilities, and Hull preservation and live saving & fire fighting facilities.
