STAFF MANUFACTURING ENGINEER; 2023-2024Responsible to the director of manufacturing engineering in identifying the CONTRACT MANUFACTURERs weaknesses in production and quality and improve the Unit Per Hour output (UPH).• Designed 3D check fixtures to quickly verify critical features of the micro inverters, reducing the FAI time from 1 hour to ½ hour per assembly cell.• Participated as an Enphase team member with the contract manufacturing team in STRESS RUN of different manufacturing sections of the micro inverters and validating the automated equipment capacity.• Studied various steps of manufacturing from SMT operation, Pick and Place, Lead height verification, Circuit testing, bonding, potting and final assembly and packaging resulting in identifying the wastes and bottlenecks and increasing the output from 2000 per day to 6000 per day.

Net Result: Dropped the cycle time from 1.5 hours to 0.5 hour per part, and saved $60,000 per year. • Conducted factory wide cost/benefit analysis for converting to disposable static mixer.
