Joined Inventory Planner shortly after its acquisition by Brightpearl. Inventory Planner’s stock replenishment recommendations and tools assist merchants with inventory planning, demand forecasting, reporting, and purchase order creation. Some of my first projects included working on security-related projects and re-writing our billing engine.

Get Help Fast with Namola, a freemium mobile safety app making it quick and easy to access emergency services and community volunteers from participating neighbourhood watches.At Namola, I've successfully pivoted the company from a struggling gov tech provider to becoming one of the largest and best-rated independent consumer apps in South Africa. I've led the implementation of a freemium business strategy, added significant features to the app, and successfully implemented enterprise integrations for two major clients.I did significant work on a fundraising pitch for Namola, which contributed to Namola being acquired by Multichoice in 2022 (after I'd left the business).

Thanks to BrandChat companies such as News24, eNCA, Standard Bank, SAA, AS Roma, Orderin and Telkom are now active on multiple channels with rapidly growing communities.

Co-founded and managed 6th Line, a software consultancy that did work for, amongst others, Vodacom and Blue Label Telecoms. 6th Line also built Mobicanvas, a mobile website creator, as an in-house product. 6th Line specialised in mobile content management and delivery systems.

Developed mobile location technology to help people locate their loved ones through Look4me. Also worked on Look4help, a panic button for all phones that would broadcast your location to emergency contacts. Worked on iFind, a location-based mobile directory service, and various mobile content services such as Lucky Mobile and Fresh Mobile.
