As a senior design engineer in Prodieco I've had the opportunity to work on many interesting projects for a variety of customers in the pharmaceutical industry. I currently specialise in a particular area of blister pack tooling design which involves the feeding of the product into the blister. This affords me the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects which are completed under tight time and budget constraints for many different customers.

My duties in TEG included the design of tooling for the pharmaceutical packaging industry as well as the design and management of other bespoke projects for various other customers.

I initially started as an assistant quantity surveyor where my duties included preparation of tenders for proposed work, analysis of invoices, cost control and site visits among other things. Overseeing annealing of components to a specific strength, the testing of these components to ensure compliance, inventory and dispatch duties.

As part of my university professional experience program I worked in a bust engineering works compnay. I devised a new wage calculation system in MS Excel. I also updated all safety and environmental documentation to ISO 9000 and 14000 standard ready for implementation and auditing.

General Assembly duties - I worked various facets of the production line manufacturing pregnancy test kits. Developed a good understanding of industrial processes.
