I'm Jade, The Moda Mensch - a sustainable fashion educator and content creator based in North Carolina. I have a deep passion for social impact and creating meaningful change. My content centers around secondhand fashion, conscious consumerism, and how to find more value in what you already have. I am anti-consumerism and pro-honesty. I have developed an online persona centered around providing genuine feedback and educating people in a concise, but informative manner.I believe very strongly that sustainability is not a "privilege" reserved for those who have the means to invest in more expensive, "eco-friendly" products, but rather a practice born of necessity - that is to say, the poorest people on the planet are the ones being the most sustainable. One of my goals this year is to start a sustainable fashion blog dedicated to becoming a hub for my audience to develop a quick-and-easy understanding of the fashion industry, as well as an understanding of their relationship with their consumption habits.
