Presently working at Ummeed Child Development Center as Associate Director – Training and Capacity Building Services at Ummeed Child Development Center. Ummeed is one of India’s premier non-profit organizations providing family-centered care to children with developmental disabilities and their families in supporting children in overcoming their disabilities through direct clinical services . Also works towards building a network of trained professionals and community workers who can prevent, diagnose, and manage developmental disabilities effectively.Ummeed's Training & Capacity Building Services, is a Vertical that conducts trainings for a diverse category of participants; as well as works towards capacity building of NGOs/Organisations in different parts of India . Involved in strategic management and guidance for smooth operational delivery of these trainings, relationship building with partner NGOs/Organisations/external stakeholders and in project management and tracking of deliverables. Working with multiple program teams like the Early Childhood Development and Disabilities team (ECDD) to guide and assist them in delivering large implementation projects in partnership with NGOs and Govt Stakeholders at on-site locations. Participated in co-designing the implementation programs, in budgeting, in drafting proposals, RFPs, concept notes, M&E strategy, project planning, tracking and managing the same.Prior to working at Ummeed, I have had 6 years experience in the Development sector: 1. Worked as a freelance consultant with Social Lens and Toolbox Foundation and was involved in activities like conducting surveys, research, monitoring & evaluation and assessments for NGOs & Foundations working in the Education, Health and Sanitation domains. 2. Worked in CORO (Committeee of Resource Organisations), a reputed NGO based in Mumbai, as the Fundraising & Partnerships Manager.3. I have worked pro-bono for NGOs like iVolunteer, Kotak Education Foundation, SHIELD Foundation, Apnalaya, Srujna, MAHAN Trust, Antarang Foundation, Kshitij, RNisarg Foundation, Caring Friends etc. Prior to that have had 15 years of experience in the Software industry as a Business Analyst, Senior Product Manager and Project Manager .
