Having been responsible for products that are seen and used by consumers on a business portal that received the highest traffic in the UK numbering in the billions of page views and billions of minutes or time on site for a household name.Worked in a Java software house nearly 5 years but in the last 2 years focussing on mainly Node based applications. Frontend e2e functional testing using Cypress and supertest in a GitHub/AWS environment and no code using DataDog synthetics.I am not of the puritan kind when it comes to process as innovation is stifled when you just rinse and repeat and apply what everyone else is doing. Gut led, I focus my attentions where I feel I am needed but always with a rule of thumb or goal in mind.I pride myself not on the amount of bugs I find but on the ability to coach my team to prevent bugs in understanding in the first instance promoting transparency and reducing siloing across team disciplines.
