During the 90’s Maurice had the opportunity to spend a few years working in Mexico, Costa Rico, and El Salvador for Champion Products, a division of Sara Lee. Working with the nation's premier supplier of healthcare products and services has allowed Maurice to demonstrate his skills in yet another growing industry. Early in his career with Medline, Maurice has been recognized by the Atlanta Regional Commission for the work with providing training and job opportunities to an area that is in desperate need of job growth. This award has placed Medline in the forefront of Business Customer Service and placed the organization as an "Employer of Choice".A former Board Chair with the DeKalb County CASA Maurice and immediate past Board Chair of the South DeKalb Family YMCA where he monitored programs including basketball, soccer, summer enrichment programs serving over 1500 area youth, young adults, and seniors.
