RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member of the Hotel Engineering Association, participate and contribute in the development and preparation of the Hotel Strategic plan and Business plan. To develop and maintain a complete set of operational procedures for all major systems and equipment. To develop and maintain a building maintenance programmer for guest rooms and public areas. At any time to ensure and guarantee the safety and smooth operation of the vital services such as electric generator and water plant. Respect, and ensure the utmost care to the environment. To co-ordinate and supervise special projects and employment of outside contractors. To ensure all local requirements and approvals are obtained for all construction projects Develops and implements cost saving initiatives to reduce parts and material inventories. Plans, schedules and monitors the timely completion of the maintenance work orders and the process. Responsibilities may include capital project management. Works with the Hotel maintenance colleagues to develop a Reliability Based program to proactively address equipment issues. Carries out semi-annual and annual Mechanical & Electrical equipment’s environmental audits. ACHIEVEMENTS  Successfully achieved ISO 14001, ISO 18001 and ISO 22000 standards. Savings of around AED 200,000 on utility bills in year 2016 vs 2015. Contributed in hotel’s accreditation of IIP (Investors in People). 100% score in Fire drill evacuation with local civil defense authorities. Scored 100% in the audits done by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. Developed hotel’s EHS Manual and upgraded it to version 3.1. Zero resignation from department for 2016. Managed hotel engineering operation without Chief Engineer for 1.5 years.

Works with the Hotel maintenance staff to develop a Reliability Based program to proactively address equipment issues.• Ensures the safety and well -being of ones self and the entire host working in the building• Carries out semi-annual and annual ME equipment and environmental audits. • Prepare for schedule pre opening , refurbishment project without disturbing guest activity• To ensure effective implementation of all Engineering policies and procedures to implement an effective and efficient day-to-day repair, maintenance and technical service operation supplying services as required maintaining the equipment’s, buildings and landscaping in optimum condition.• To manage an active hotel energy and maintenance to ensure that stringent energy management and maintenance procedures are in place and supported by all the departments in the hotel.• To establish consistency preventive maintenance plan for all the machines, equipment’s and all the hotel tools to ensure a smooth daily operation.
