I have 41 years of experience with 31 years of them in managerial positions. Between year 1985 and 1996 I shared and helped Pfizer Corporation, Ciba-Geigy and FMC Corporation in marketing and selling new antiscalant chemical products for multi-stages flash desalination plants and the reverse osmosis desalination plants. Flocon 100 antiscalant is my baby product which I made lots of efforts and spent too much time to market it and sell it to the reverse osmosis plants. It's now the major antiscalant in this industry. I left FMC in 1996 with a sales income of USD 10 million for this business.The last 22 years of my life, I'm proud to be a developer of the HDPE Geomembrane Lining products in the Middle East. As a managing director then as a chairman of GSE Egypt I was responsible of building this company in Egypt and for leading the production and the sales team to introduce the HDPE Geomembrane to the Egyptian and to the Middle Eastern market. I left GSE in 2011 with a total sales income of USD 40 million.Between year 2012 and early 2015 I gave my consultancy works to both Dolphin Engineering & Water Technology Company and to Hyma Plastic Company to develop their business in the Egyptian and in the Middle Eastern Market.From Feb 2015 till date, I helped in building a new HDPE Geomembrane factory in Saudi Arabia. Then I continued in assisting the owner of the company for leading the production and the sales team. Gecat Plastic Factory(GPF), had started its official activities at the beginning of year 2017 with 1 production line, and during this year; GPF had achieved a sales income of USD 7.2 million to clients in Saudi Arabia, Middle East, Africa and USA. My plan is to add 3 more production lines within the next 5 years with a sales target of USD 60 million.As I'm getting old in age, I really feel glad for all of my achievement in both the Desalination Business and in the Geomembrane Lining Business, with good students who will continue the good work.

This staff includes the plant operation manager, the production manager, the head of mechanical maintenance dept., the head of the electrical maintenance dept., the Lab supervisor, the production and the maintenance supervisors.• Contacting all the raw materials suppliers and making deals with all of them to buy the needed raw materials.• Carrying out the commissioning of the machine, to produce the desired products and to make sure that the machine is running smoothly and perfectly without having any problem.• Purchasing all the required laboratory equipment and making sure that the QC lab is fully equipped with all the equipment that can test all the products to make sure of its compatibility with the international standard of GRI-GM13.• Testing samples of our products at Texas Research Institute (TRI) and obtaining certificates confirming their compatibility with the international standard of GRI-GM13.• Making the preliminary budget for the company.• Recruiting the sales manager and the technical manager.• Obtaining the Civil Defense Licence, the Environmental License and the Operation Licence from the Saudi Industrial Cities (Modon) for the Plant. • Preparing the submittals of the company along with other marketing documents.• Visiting some exhibitions and sharing some conferences for the plastic industry and the use of Geomembrane in different lining applications.• Starting the selling activities by the end of 2016 and achieving a sales income in 2017 of US$. 7.2 million in Saudi Arabia, Middle East , Africa and USA.• Planing for adding 2 more production lines by 2020 with an estimated sales income of US$ 60 million.
