In 2012, I became a part of MapmyIndia and was responsible for developing their flagship app, MapmyIndia maps, which is currently known as Mappls. Additionally, I also created other apps such as Locate by MapmyIndia and ReachMe by MapmyIndia.

As an Android Developer at Landshark Labs, I have been responsible for creating multiple apps as well as their backend APIs. Some of my notable projects include:* Yaum Birthday Anniversary mate: an android application for anniversary and birthday reminder that syncs Facebook contacts and phone book records.* Sydney City Guide,Kuala Lumpur City Guide,Amsterdam City Guide: Android applications for a website http://www.sydneyho.com, http://www.kualalumpurisfun.com/ and http://www.amsterdamisfun.com/ . Using these app, users can search for restaurants, events, and businesses in Sydney, check-in to places, view maps, and get directions from their current location. * Electionoid, the Elections app: an android application for US citizens to express their opinions about upcoming elections. The app allowed users to rate candidates, create polls to take opinions from other users, and read news about the election. * Coupons and Deals: an android application that fetches data from the web and displays it in an organized manner. It also shows the user their current location and nearby stores using Google Maps. * Praeco: an app designed to help users create groups for their contacts so that they can communicate with many as easily as they would with a single person.* Spin to Date: an android implementation of a social networking website. Using this app, users can try their luck by using their Facebook credentials and spin to select a randomly generated date.* Sync Us Up: an app that provides smartphone users with the ability to sync their contact lists across multiple devices.* Social ToDos: I worked as a developer on an Android application that allowed users to share their ToDos with friends and invite them to join their tasks. Users could also search for public ToDos and request to join them. The technologies and tools that I used for these projects included PHP(for the backend), Android 2.2, Java, Eclipse IDE, Android Emulator, DDMS, ADB, and Sqlite3.

My duties included ongoing maintenance and support to ensure the system remained operational and met business requirements.In addition to maintenance, I also led efforts to enhance the software when new requirements emerged. This involved collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, analyzing the feasibility of proposed changes, and implementing modifications in a timely and efficient manner.Through my work, I gained expertise in software maintenance and the intricacies of remittance banking systems. I developed a deep understanding of the challenges involved in keeping software running effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure banking environment.I took pride in my work and was known for my attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
