Prepare bank’s overall risk management strategy. Develop and oversee implementation of stress tests. The overall capital need is reported through Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP). Develop standard policy guidelines (Investment Policy, Investment Risk Management Policy, Security against Investment, Insurance Policy against Investment, Documentation Procedure, Enlistment of Valuation Surveyors, Valuation of Securities, Enhancement of Limit, Special Profit Rate, Centralized Investment Proposal Processing System, etc.) based on banking norms & practices to streamline investment activities of the bank. Monitor investment activities of the bank and submit various MIS reports/returns to Bangladesh Bank. Appraisal of various types of investment proposals (industrial projects, power plant projects, trading business, real estate projects, transport projects and special projects) for sanction. Assess working capital requirement of various projects for sanctioning a limit. Assess valuation of asset/properties of various types of projects / establishments to determine acceptable collaterals against investment. Project management and construction management of roads, water development, electrical substations and buildings projects, administration of construction contracts, claims investigation and analysis, design of roads, water development, buildings and other civil engineering structures.
