Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms on required supplies.Devise and employ fruitful product sourcing strategies.Forecasting and planning of goods and determining the required quantity.• Control purchasing department budgets• Resolve vendor grievances and claims against suppliers• Represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.• Well versed with Abudhabi and Dubai Port Custom rules and regulations.• Complete knowledge of freight management, logistics & transportation.• Preparing and maintaining reports and updating management.

Receives, examines and processes requisitions on ERP system.Prepares bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of supplies, materials and equipmentPrepares State requisition and locates source of supply, and places orders with appropriate bidders.Compares costs and evaluates the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and equipment.Interviews and corresponds with vendors; keeps informed of new products and market conditions and trends.Confers with and assists officials of all departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications. Maintains records on purchase price information on both open market and contract purchases and revises these as conditions changes; obtains quotations on open market purchases. Analyzes purchasing trends to determine agency contract or statewide contract .

• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers (Tender & Trade market) through scheduled meetings, phone calls and emails.• Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business(Tender & Trade market).• Understand variety of customer (Sheikhs- Purchaser, Marketer) needs and customize it upon their inquiry.• Negotiating the terms of an agreement, price, and delivery terms and closing the deal.• Gathering market, customer & competitor data to set plans on strong base.• Representing the Company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.• Challenging any objections and creating business solutions to get customers to buy more.• Advising on marketing campaign and promotions.• Follow up on existing orders with the supplier.• Forecasting and market dynamic analysis on monthly bases.• Reporting business records on daily , monthly & yearly base to my 1st line manager.• Attending team business review meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
