Work Area: Fabrication, erection and hydro-testing of tanks(fixed & floating types) as per API 650 & API 620. Piping fabrication, erection and hydro-testing(tank-age piping, well-pad etc.)  Pipe rack fabrication & erection.Responsibilities:Ascertain that all works are done in accordance to the inspection work list based on applicable code, specification (ASME,API, AWSD1.1)and in conformity with the approved plans.• Issue and prepare NCR/QOR against code and recommend all the necessary repair works to done.• Conduct welder’s qualification test, preparation of PQR and WPS of various welding processes(SMAW,GTAW,MIG,FCAW,SAW) for conformance to job specifications and requirements of codes(ASME IX).• Conduct fit-up inspections and welding visual inspection of piping, tanks, vessels and structural steel as per approved Welding procedure specification and ASME VIII, IX,AWSD1.1, API650, API620.• Conduct inspection of materials identification and traceability, welding works in piping, tanks, vessels, structural steel at fabrication and erection.• Monitor the welder’s performance and welding joint history with reference to project specification and codes such as ASME IX ;V;B31.3;B31.4;API 650 & API 620.• Perform/witness NDT (RT,UT,PT,MT) work and review/evaluate radiographs and post-weld treatment (PWHT). Keeping records of NDT performed as per ASME V and client specification.• Conduct lines check of completed piping and review hydrostatic/pneumatic test packages for NDT clearance prior start of test. Prepare punch list on piping systems.• Witness pressure test (hydrostatic and pneumatic). Coordinates with the client inspectors regarding the test and other QC works.• Conducting painting inspection and preparing reports.• Confirm and review final inspection records and signature of the inspectors.• Prepare all Q.C. documents for turnover packages to be submitted to the client at the final stage of the project.
