Responsible for developing all mechanical models of batteries on Cell level.Core areas and main responsibilities:- Crash modelling and failure prediction of Cell and components under different conditions, e.g., crush, impact, fatigue, etc. - Simulation and design improvement of safety components, e.g., Vent- Support Cell Design in design optimization of next generation of Li-ion batteries- Virtual Testing to support the Mechanical Validation - Mechanical characterization of Cell materials- Swelling force prediction- Fulfill and discuss customer deliverables related to Cell Design
