About Mohammad Hasheminia
I am a mechanical engineer with a PhD in Solid Mechanics, a decade of experience in CAE, expertise in multiple FE modelling software and a limitless curiosity to investigate and predict failure mechanisms and durability of complex systems. A problem solver with a demonstrated history of working in numerous fields of Engineering Mechanics and leading R&D projects.Beside my background in multiple Solid Mechanics disciplines and industries, I have a strong track record of collaborating with leading automotive manufacturers, including top-tier European OEMs and Hyundai Motor Group, on innovative engineering solutions. Highly skilled in durability, crash analysis and nonlinear Finite Element Modelling and very enthusiastic about solving complex issues through a series of creative CAE and experimental methods. During my PhD, I developed innovative methods for predicting failure mechanisms and ensuring the durability of composite-metal hybrid joints, with direct support from the Hyundai Motor Group. This work resulted in advanced solutions for the fracture and fatigue behavior of adhesive, bolted, and hybrid joints used in commercial vehicle structures. With a core background in automotive projects and lightweight structures, I am currently at the forefront of the mechanical CAE team of a fast-paced R&D, responsible for the mechanical simulation of Li-ion battery cells. I am a dedicated advocate of innovative methodologies, with a strong belief in leveraging virtual testing to enhance R&D efficiency and design for excellence.
Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Matlab, Autocad, Solidworks, and 14 others.
