Provide technical support and acts as the focal point for Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS)/Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) matters. Provide expert technical reports to the Head of Instrumentation/ICSS, Head of Site Maintenance and other departments. Supervise the implementation of minor modifications and improvement projects, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, timeliness and adherence to Company standards and specifications.Preventive, corrective defect and shutdown maintenance, Participate in the preparation of shutdown reports, modifications, etc. Review and re-organize existing maintenance programs or PM plans to ensure adequate adaptation to applicable reliability requirements. Prepare relevant and appropriate maintenance interventions relating to applicable ICSS systems, PLC systems and other integrated automation packages. Coordinate the activities of the ICSS/PLC Engineers and communicate progress through monthly and intervention reports. Liaise with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries re-garding maintenance, drawings, modifications, resolution of technical problems, etc. Ensure that all drawings, plans, manual and Maintenance Equipment Logbook are up-to-date and “as built”. Participate in Site Modification Requests (ECR) and projects realized by Engineering, Construction & Projects dept. to ensure changes are in conformity to Company general standards and specific requirements of each plant

Responsible for all type of field instrumentation construction pre-commissioning activities in FGS, EPF’s & DSF Projects, coordinating with field engineering department to resolve the technical issues as per project specification and standards acquaint planning & work Schedule to contractors as per area priority system. Attending coordination meeting with the discipline managers construction managers of contractors and operation team to discuss & resolve all the hold ups & blocking points of instrumentation activities prior to handover the area to operation team for start-up commissioning. Coordinating with QC department for updating of ITR’S in system (Inspection Test Reports) Materials follow up with procurement group for all the missing & damaged materials at site. Attending weekly Management Walk Thru to ensure that the area is under control of safety Housekeeping and work progress.

Involve in system walk downs, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and star-up activities according to Company STORP standard, supervising coordinating and Witnessing of Contractor activities, Cable insulation test, Loop checking, function test, Operation test, Mechanical test, Process Leak test, Solo Run and Air Run for Pumps and Compressors, prepare punch list as necessary. Responsible for resolution of field construction, progress on all Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities check sheet, test sheet and preliminary checks done in a timely manner according to OPERCOM Methodology and results recorded in ICAPS, and provide technical support in all the issues related to E&I and ensure responses are appropriate and practical. Review, evaluate and advising Commissioning and start-up Plan and Procedures. Develop of method of statements, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, Operational Test Procedures and Task Risk Assessment. Organizing and conducting daily & weekly meeting with E&I, other package unit and discipline.Review and approving the compilation of the handover packages RFC, RFSU, RFISU Dossier drawings according to the site conditions, control philosophy, P&I diagrams, cause & effect diagrams, instruments list, flow chart, Hook-UP drawing and Vendor Documents.
