Working towards the elimination of impediments in the telecommunications and information technology sectors through coordination and cooperation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission and other parties in such a way as to assist the Ministry in performing its duties and responsibilities.# Assist in the development of a set of indicators to measure impact of Telecom on national economy # Assist in developing new legislation's # Work with local/foreign suppliers to secure access to data.# Monitor developments in Telecom Sector in Jordan from a Telecom point of view. Department of Telecommunications Policies The telecommunications policies department formulates and monitors the implementation of related policies which aim at developing the telecommunications sector. It also plays an effective role in developing legislative and regulatory frameworks related to the sector.This department coordinates and cooperates with the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission to eliminate any impediments in the telecommunications sector.
