Born in the family of photo journalists and film makers, I acquired the knowledge of the medium from a tender age. Literally grew up with cameras and film rolls. It was during my post graduation days in 1986, I received my National Award for a documentary film on a vanishing tribe of Odisha called the Dongria Kondhs of Koraput. The film was adjudged as the best film in the subject of anthropology and ethnography. I went on to have produced and directed several short films, full length documentary and corporate films. In the year 2016 I had the opportunity to spearhead a country wide media campaign in Afghanistan which was funded by USAID and was backed by Da Bank of Afghanistan. After successfully completing the campaign, I joined Azizi Production Company as Director at Kabul, Afghanistan. Our company is among four other companies under Azizi Group of companies based in Kabul, Afghanistan.
