Project: Basra Water Supply Improvement Project (BWSIP-P2R)Client: Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works (MMPW) – IraqFunder: JICA - JapanProject Budget: 85M $Description: The Project includes construction of Water Treatment Plant, Pumping stations, Reservoirs, Transmission Line and Distribution Network.Duties:• Oversee and participate in preparation and revision of contracts and sub-contracts.• Maintain an audit file for each contract which includes original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules and progress monitoring.• Prepare contracts briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.• Set Forms for measurements and take-offs in accordance with the conditions of contract.• Measure and estimate construction and material costs and recalculate costs if the design or materials change.• Obtain Measurements on all executed items on daily basis from site teams.• Keep records for the executed quantities in term of Planned vs. Actual and monitor the progress of the project. • Prepare Monthly Interim Payment Application considering all deductions, variations, retentions, and day works etc.• Ensure that all measurements are done in accordance with the preambles of the bills of quantities.• Provide advice to PM regarding all contractual issues and possible claims once encountered.• Assistance in preparing the periodic reports.

Duties:• Managed all assigned projects achieved by the sister company Brandure. • Prepared the monthly IPCs and followed them until getting approval from the clients. • Provide advice on contractual claims. • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. • Prepare and Analyse costings for tenders. • Implemented systems to improve process efficiency and reduce the project duration. • Monitored the progress of many projects at the same time. • Conducted weekly production and operation meetings, which facilitated stronger communication and the ability to resolve critical issues. • Updated the time schedules according to the monthly progress. • Prepared regular interval progress reports.

Project: Water Supply Improvement Project in Kurdistan Region – Iraq Client: Kurdistan Region – Iraq Council of Ministers, Ministry of Municipality & Tourism Project Budget: 200M $Funder: JICA – JapanDescription: The Project includes Construction of 100000 cubic meters capacity water treatment plant, pumping stations, intake facilities,60 m tunnel & 60 m shaft, high capacity reservoirs, Transmission Line of 90km and Distribution Network of 300km.Duties:• Supervised Contractor's activities to ensure that works were executed according to Contract's documents and Client's requirements. • Prepared detailed progress weekly and monthly reports to the RE and the Client. • Monitored the Contractor's performance to ensure that Project run within the agreed time-frame.• Modified and improved existing drawings to ensure that there was no discrepancy with the updated local authority master plans. • Checked, corrected and approved all shop drawings/method of statements/ submitted by the Contractor. • Prepared proper De-Scoping criteria of the project. • Finalized the new drawings and construction plans after modification of the project. • Checked and verified all monthly Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) submitted by the Contractor. • Evaluated the Contractor's correspondence including claims based on the FIDIC form of Contract. • Covered the absence of the Senior QS and achieved all tasks assigned to this position in Network Department of the project.
