Disruptive Effects OfficerMy role consisted of the following:▪ Conducting uniformed and plain clothes patrols in policing deployments, disrupting criminal activity at various locations.▪ Working in partnership with local businesses and organisations.▪ Arresting suspects and conducting interviews in strict compliance with the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.▪ Analysing and interpreting intelligence in order to keep abreast of all current crime trends and patterns.▪ Previously trained in Level 2 Public Order tactics. My role actively involved me working in partnership with communities, stakeholders, providing a visible presence to deter crime and offering reassurance. I have attained extensive policing experience whilst working within in incident response teams, public order units and proactive crime teams. I undertook an additional role as a single point of contact for setting up partnership operations with home office police services and railway revenue teams at prominent crime hotspots. I responded to calls on request from the public to assist at incidents and emergencies. I conducted uniformed and plain clothes proactive patrols targeting suspects on the railway network, conducted initial investigations, gathered evidence, took statements and ensured that there was compliance with legal requirements. Where needed; I conducted arrests with due regard for the human rights, security and health and safety of detained individuals, members of the public, colleagues and myself.During the course of an investigation I have interviewed suspects, victims and witnesses in accordance with legislation and where appropriate to the investigation. Viewed, gathered CCTV and seized exhibits which were relevant to cases. I have experience in compiling evidence as part of a case file which I would then create and present to the CPS ready for the court case.
