Responsible for achieving a greater sales increase over the previous year in sales.Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.Contains the losses of their unit by keeping inventory shrinkage.Ensure all reports, such as purchase, inventory and sales, are accurate and timely available.Monitor store cleanliness, appearance and maintenance as per company policy.Ensures compliance of employees with security, sales, and record keeping.Orders goods or prepares requisitions to replenish goods on hand.Monitor and verify vendor activity in store.Ensure all store employees are trained properly.

a) Manage the efficient operation of the store to achieve maximum sales whilst controlling costs. b) You will be required to lead, inspire and motivate your team to provide unrivalled customer service. c) Merchandising and correct pricing of products as to comply with current legislation.d) Observance of company rules and legal requirements. e) Budget Management: Wage cost and sales.f) Stock control: Ordering and management.g) Implementing all company directives. h) Planning: long and short term plans for sales improvement. i) People Management: to assist the Store Manager with recruitment, training, staff management and Discipline.j) Health & safety compliance and general housekeeping. k) Carry out any extra reasonable request of the Area Manager.
