Job Responsibilities Interacting with application team ,Database team , storage andBackup teams for resolving the day to day problems Opening and Following up of tickets with Sun . Monitoring the Performance using BMC Patrol . Create RFC’s for requesting any changes required or for downtimeduring patch installations or major changes . Manage all Cluster Tasks like failover the resource groups from primary to secondary. Starting ,Stopping , adding and removing the resources and setting the priorities and affinities . Analysing the Overall System performance related to cpu’s , Memory, disk ,network and IO throughput and accordingly tune the kernel parameters or system tunable parameters. Providing Raw devices to Oracle RAC for addition of Tablespaces and Indexes . Configuring LUNS from the storage for the Raw devices Periodically check the resource utilisations and scrub the ZFS FileSystem. Download and install the system kernel patches, packages. Installing the patches and cluster patches on systems running Non Global systems without downtime. Installing the cluster patches using live upgrade to avoid the downtime of production systems Creation and configuration of Non Global Zones in Solaris10 including cloning the zones, renaming the existing zones, configuring shared metadevices in zones and creating processor sets in each zone Configuring multipathing, virtual IPs and tuning the network interfaces with either half duplex or full duplex

•Responsible for mission critical internal and external integration services.(13m+ clients )•Scaling complex and live integration/web-based services up to 80% without interruption.•Experience in Veritas Net backup..Experience in Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas Cluster Server (VCS)•Configuring system and application level monitoring using CA/TNGproducts.•Installing cluster level requirements for both Web Methods andOracleRAC/HA. (Active/Passive –Active/Active) Experience with multiple virtualization technologies..Experience with high-end servers and complex ERP deployments andmigrations.. Responsibilities include Installation, Configuration, maintenance and administration of Sun Solaris Operating Environment, Oracle 8i/9i Database, Baan / Microsoft Axapta on Sun Fire V880 Server and Sun Enterprise 3500Servers. Maintaining Backup Strategies.

Maintenance of Sun Enterprise 250 Server, Project Analysis, Planning, and Design. Fine tuning of resources and maintaining the workability of the network were the overall responsibilities
