• Estimate quantities, surface areas, volumes, etc. and perform all quantity take-offs for our assigned scope of work.• Receiving pre contract documents from client or consultant and understanding the nature of work.• Compile the tender BOQ with description based on the quantity take-offs.• Checking/Inspection of all tender documents.• Preparation of RFI.• Analyse drawings received at bid stage and clarify exclusion/qualifications within.• Taking quantities from received drawings and preparing BOQ or if BOQ provided confirming BOQ quantities with tender drawings and identifying the extra works if any.• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals and other project related documents.• Examine and review tender drawings/documents for variance and difference in quantities, additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer; Liase with consultant/client regarding ambiguities contract work scope and seek clarification there to• Working closely with key members of the project team (such as the bid manager) and liaising with clients and suppliers• Update Q.S work based on changes as per pre and post tender addendum/circular etc.• Prepare BOQ by referring Architectural, Structural and all kind of civil drawings, documents and specification

• Assist in the preparation of estimates for civil engineering works in accordance with company estimating systems and procedures.• Preparation of quantity take-offs and studies for all items incorporated in the project using traditional or digital programs and discussing project specific details with the assigned estimator.• Maintained files of working documents as back-up for estimates figures.• Analyzing project requirements, specifications, and scope to understand the key components and deliverables of the project.• Follow up with client to receive the amended Work Order• Assisting in preparation of Rate analysis & recommendation to client for non BOQ items.• Cross check quantities of received BOQ’s, quantity take off and preparation of BOQ’s when necessary.

• Provide civil/structural engineering support during the construction phase of project.• Technical assistance and resolution of engineering problems.• Cross check and coordinate design drawings and quantities.• Review specification, BOQs, drawings and design calculations.• Develop preliminary presentation drawings for client approval, drawings for authority approval, design and shop drawings and as – built drawings.• Ensure best industry standards are followed and that the structure is completed on time and within budget.• Compile, check and approve reports.
