Hi there! I'm an avid computer science practitioner, currently pursuing a doctoral degree focusing on solving issues at the intersection of computer architecture and high-performance computing. I have previously worked in a document intelligence startup. My responsibilities included designing an in-house OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine and developing solutions for information extraction from complex financial documents. I also interned as a Data Scientist at HID Global in Austin, TX during the summer of 2023. At HID, I worked on curating datasets and developing data pipelines for person re-identification.Most recently, I have started working with computer architecture problems and I’m currently looking into how architectural choices affect high-performance computing. I am working under the guidance of Prof. Kanad Ghose at Binghamton University.

- Awarded funding under SUNY SPIR program (Strategic Partnership for Industrial Resurgence).- Working under the supervision of Prof. Kenneth Chiu. - Researching gamification methods to instill energy-efficient behaviors in consumers. This research is being carried out in collaboration with ThermoAI.- Performing data analysis and studying usage patterns on the energy usage data of about 40 residential buildings at Binghamton Univ. that houses around 14000 students.
New Delhi, Delhi, India
- Researched and developed the in-house OCR engine for scanned financial documents and achieved 90% accuracy as compared to AWS Textract using Python, Tensorflow, and Flask.- Implemented the intelligent document information extraction pipeline feature with a dual approval system which handled thousands of documents with over 50 points of information to be collected using Postgresql, SqlAlchemy, Flask, and Pattern Recognition.- Brainstormed and worked on a pilot project based on automating the extraction of data from complex financial documents for one of the largest P&C insurance company. Lead the development and planning of backend APIs required for the human-in-the-loop version of the same product. (Python, Flask)- Worked on the development of modules for OCR and document classification for an AI-driven enterprise solution that automated document processing & surfaced critical insights which enabled quicker & better decisions.
