 Review and scrutinizing the drawings for correctness of standards regarding raw material, surface protection, heat treatment and etc. Inspecting of composite materials (EPDM-II, CP, SP, High silica phenolic, etc.) through necessary NDE techniques.  Raw material identification with MILL Test certificate and verifying the Traceability.  Stage wise inspection carried out for motor hardware and individual components by different types of mouldings and lining lay-ups.  Witnessing of raw material testing for chemical analysis, metallographic tests and mechanical tests. Preparing and modification of the Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) of raw materials and composite material components according to designer/project requirements.  Review of process document, Inspection Plan along with Inspection formats and QA Matrix (inspection stages).  Reviewing of heat treatment charts & temperature cycles as per QAP. Preparation of QA Audit reports along with deviation/NCR review through waiver board and issue the clearance notes. Ensuring the calibration status of all measuring instruments, heat treatment furnace and testing equipments. Quality Surveillance during dimensional inspection of hardware and composite lining of rocket motor, fasteners (Systems and Sub systems) As per drawing and standards.  Active participating during inspection of Non-Destructive testing’s like Dye Penetrant test, MPI and ultrasonic testing etc. Witnessing/ Review of surface treatment like Anodization, Cadmium plating, Passivation etc.
