I was selected as a Intern for the Summer Internship Program by INDIAN RAILWAYS. It was the best experience to enhance,explore and utilize our Electronics and Communication knowledge to the most.We were dealt to explore in 3 main departments of Indian Railways 1)Telecommunication Department- Here we studied about railways FOIS- Freight Operation Information Systems, Railnet, IPDSLAM-Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer and about there Encompass Communication System.2)Control Department- Here we explored around how the loco pilots and station managers are instructed to loco-mote the trains.3)Signalling- Here we learnt about how the movements of trains are monitored and the signals are granted for proper and clear manoeuvre of the trains.
