Responsibilities • Responsible for choosing the structural design approach, keeping in mind the economy as well as ease in production and erection aspects. • Manage the design and drawing office • Ensure that all design work, both internally and externally is completed to agreed deadlines and standards. • Analysis & Design of various Cold formed Steel (LGS-Light Gauge Steel) Buildings i.e "modular" as well as "on-site erection" buildings. • Manage and develop the existing design team • Review and analyze project tender drawings • Prepare fabrication shop drawings • Attend contract launch meetings • Maintain and develop in house design manuals • Schedule, conduct and physically participate in meetings related to safety, quality, delivery, cost and product problems • Coordinate procurement of raw material, spares, consumables, etc. • Prepare and issue production reports on daily, weekly & monthly basis • Coordinate site start up activities with Erection Engineer as required • Preparation of Complete Structural Design Package for the submission to the Client/Consultant. • Attend meetings with clients to clarify their doubts about the design. • Creation of BIM in Vertex BD to generate machine files to produce panels using Howick CNC machi
