• Assessing the plans made by the CAD Team before processing and sending the plans to the client • Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues.• Ensuring plans produced are in adherence with the specified RiL codes and standards.• Entry and review of Metadata, wherever applicable.

Roles Performed - Team Leader / CAD Engineer•Drafting and Revision of As-Built Drawings of the Railway system in disciplines ranging from Signalling, Electrical and Track Alignment and subsequently encompassing the following. Layout /Overview Plan (Railway power lines), Railway crossing plan, Cable systems, Cable Connection, Electric Point Heating system, Cable Location, Circuit diagrams, Catenary systems, Railway mast List, Ground plan etc. using AUTO-CAD and Raster Design•Overlooking day to day distribution of work among the Team members Allocation and Management of workload, among the Team, using EPLASS, a document management software.•Coordinating with Quality Management Team & CAD Team, to resolve any matter pertinent any change or delivery of the plans.•Preparation / Maintenance of documentation and distribution of the same to appropriate personnel from various departments. • Generation of Time sheet, Management of Technical Documentation , preparation of Minutes of Meeting, Progress/Statistical Report.etcEnsuring effective tracking of the production by generation and analysis of Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts in Microsoft Excel.

During the period I worked with a group of site engineers in developing day to day problem solving skills in the field of Civil enginnering. I also gained experience in blueprint reading and knowedge of floor plans and bar bending Schedules.
