- Administrating, managing Linux servers and responsible for providing technical and system administration support through troubleshooting, identifying and addressing issues and assist in deploying or installing applications or configurations approved for deployment.- Ensure Cloudera installation and configuration is at optimal specifications (CDP, HDFS, CDSW, Hive, Spark, NiFi, etc..).- Perform CDP upgrades and critical data migrations from CDH to CDP.- Assist with new use cases (i.e., analytics/Client, data science, data ingest and processing), Infrastructure (including new cluster deployments, cluster migration, expansion, major upgrades, DR, and security).- Assist in testing, governance, data quality, training, and documentation efforts.- Move data and use YARN to allocate resources and schedule jobs.- Implement comprehensive security policies across the Hadoop cluster using Ranger.- Configure and manage Cloudera Data Science Workbench using Cloudera Manager.- Troubleshoot potential issues with Kerberos, TLS/SSL, Models, and Experiments, as well as other workload issues that data scientists might encounter once the application is running.- Supporting the Big Data / Hadoop databases throughout the development and production lifecycle.- Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, performance tuning, query optimization, using monitoring and troubleshooting tools.- Create, test, and implement monitoring alerts on multiple monitoring tools such as (Zabbix, Grafana).- Managing Automation Tools such as Airflow.- Experience in working with Kafka ecosystem (Kafka Brokers, Connect, Zookeeper) in production is ideal.- Implement and support streaming technologies such as Kafka, Spark.- Installing, managing and configuring Presto SQL Engine.- Installing and configuring Distributed File System like BeeGFS.

- Monitoring and working on Hadoop eco system components (HDFS, Spark, HBase, Kafka , etc..).- Working on Hive, Presto programming engine.- Monitoring system performance to prevent slowdowns and crashes using Linux OS (CentOS).- Creating system backups depending on system space & business needs.- Troubleshooting issues and fix them or escalate it to the related team.- Supporting client with their issues & service requests by assigning tickets to the related team and to follow up with using Atlassian Jira ticketing system.- Working on delivering daily reports within SLA’s.- Managing meetings with the client on daily basis to check on the latest updates and reports.

- Provide high quality product-related services to clients and business partners in the areas of application Implementations.- Implementation of the data migration process and assure that all the data is matched. - Applying the business process rules on the HRMS according to the client policies and needs with effective time management skills.- Provide support activities to existing clients and assure client's satisfaction.- Train the key staff users on the system and assure their understanding by giving proper examples about practical business.- Assure the deliverables on each project for both sides as a client and as a vendor.
