I have persued my Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowiship in Bagalkote, Karnataka were engaged with as many people as possible to build a remarkable understanding of the district and its functioning, recognize the priorities of the stakeholders and the beneficiaries and work towards projects that ultimately contribute to the growth plan of the district. Training in design thinking and research methods from IIMB has helped to look beyond the initial teething systemic problems and work out feasible solutions. Streamlining the implementation of various schemes/initiatives from the government, through actively engaging in policy consultation exercises. Creating a platform for alignment and leverage of various training institutes, departments for skill training and employment creation for youth of the district and demand aggregation for the implementation of state and central skilling initiatives. Six week social internship program offered from Indivillage foundation, Tech me Forward project which is under Gender and education vertical of the organization. Where I worked on M&E aspect of the project - Designed a student development evaluation structure and reporting; Designed facilitator (Volunteers of Program) development evaluation structure and reporting; Excel dashboard for periodic data entry & analysis; Developed a school stakeholders engagement and reporting structures.

As part of Fellowship I worked in a low income private school exploring myself and creating a safe and sustainable classroom for 42 students for whom I taught mathematics, science and literacy (last 5 months). I was one among the 15 fellows selected to Transformational Learning and Leadership track (TLL 20-21) lead by training and learning team, during which I have created curriculum map and assessment, facilitated multiple problem solving space and role as a content lead. Volunteered to be part of organizing committee, designing and executing fellow Mid-year retreat (19-20) and city's first ever virtual End of the year summit (19-20) in my year 1 of fellowship. Apart from this during the pandemic along with my school team members raised 6.5 lakh to cover the administrative cost for running school and keep education affordable to our students.
