In this Role I work mostly on Designing CANs, which are Controller Area Networks, through a program called called CANdb++. I also create data sheets through excel to summarize the information into a more comprehensible format for the other engineering groups we interface with. I also do Diagnostics which involves making sure all ECM teams are keeping up to date with their deliverable and assisting finding and fixing any issues with our Networks.

My role consisted of designing Interior Door Trim parts. Most of these parts were plastic and when design I had to consider all manufacturing, packaging, and Assembly constraints. Worked with several different teams such as Design and Release Engineers, FEA teams, Suppliers, and other design groups such as the Door Sheet metal groups. Worked mostly on CATIA V5, but also gained experience with Teamcenter, Microsoft Visual Basic and continued experience Microsoft Office.
