Within Camp Wimodausis I planned and carried out engaging and fun activities for children and youth attending camp. These children and youth were those who would have struggled in a traditional camp setting and were also attending S.N.A.P. sessions during the time at camp. This required quick thinking, compassion and individualized approaches to each camper.The second summer I worked at the CDI camp Camp Towhee in Haliburton. This was a camp for youth with learning disabilities complicated by mental health challenges.
