The Division of IT programmers provide all State agencies and their respective websites with innovative solutions to create effective and user friendly site tools, maintain updated information, and transform government services for the citizens.My role is to support several agencies sites by applying web developing, web design, graphic design, UX/UI and process improvement skills to carry maintenance, planning, and updates that will meet each agency’s need and to make recommendations that will add value to their services.

Providence, Rhode Island Area

▪ Developed the Agency Resource Center (ARC) code for www.Purchasing.ri.gov, which increased customer satisfaction, reduced question calls, and provides access to State documents and trainings for all of Rhode Island State agency users▪ Programmed code into production in the State Purchases website and made relevant changes through the ASP.NET framework, debugged errors and warnings in the code, and provided recommendations for best results▪ Tested overall system functionality of the Rhode Island Financial Accounting Network System (RIFANS) to guarantee a glitch free environment and high quality product for State suppliers▪ Developed RIFANS manuals for agency users with detailed step by step instructions and screenshots to be used at quarterly training sessions which resulted in positive reviews and improved performance metrics▪ Assisted in facilitating State Agency trainings and participated in Lean meetings to discuss the Master Price Agreement (MPA) process and came up with solutions to streamline the work and eliminate downtime▪ Extended and uploaded up to 5 MPAs per day to the State Purchases website and performed fiscal year end cleanups to the MPA portfolio, eliminated expired contracts and made sure the website had the most updated and accurate information available

▪ Assisted the office with accounts payable and receivable tasks by making copies, organizing files, managing spreadsheets with vendor/buyer accounts, and opening mail on a daily basis in to consolidate accounts, and identify errors which helped reduce workload for the Accountant and helped the company charge and pay correct amounts for products and services.
