I'm an Energy Literacy Strategist, a Communications Consultant, and a passionate Creator of Open Educational Resources (OER). With over 20 years of experience consulting corporate clients in the energy sector, I've developed a diverse set of skills and a rich knowledge base. I'm passionate about supporting and enabling youth to raise their knowledge about energy issues and actively participate in the energy transition. My primary objective is to motivate natural science, technical, and social science experts to openly share their knowledge and raise awareness about energy issues among the youth and other interested citizens. I do this by developing educational and communication approaches that strengthen the voice of science and experts in public and media discussions.As part of the team at Consensus Communications, I'm thrilled to be involved in the European H2020 and Horizon Europe Research & Innovation, as well as Coordination & Support actions in the fields of energy, climate, and mobility. As the Coordinator of the Open Education for a Better World global mentoring program's Energy, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Living Hub, I've had the opportunity to collaborate on these issues with Open Education experts and developers from around the world and gain insights into global perspectives.As president of the EN-LITE Society, a non-profit and non-governmental organization, operating in Slovenia in the public interest in the field of energy, I am committed to strengthening energy literacy and promoting open education about energy topics. I'm determined to support youth representatives to gain new knowledge, develop their systems thinking skills, and actively engage in effectively achieving the energy transitions, taking into consideration its social, environmental, and technological aspects.
