Poslanstvo društva EN-LITE je krepitev energetske pismenosti s spodbujanjem odprtega izobraževanja o energiji in energetiki. Prispevati želimo k razumevanju, da mora oblikovanje odgovornih, resnično trajnostnih odločitev v energetiki temeljiti na strokovno preverjenih dejstvih in številkah. Pri aktivnostih krepitve energetske pismenosti sodelujemo s strokovnjaki z različnih naravoslovno-tehniških in družboslovnih področij ter z vsemi, ki se prepoznavajo v našem poslanstvu. Podpiramo uresničevanje cilja trajnostnega razvoja št. 7 (dostopna in čista energija).
Organizirani smo kot neprofitno društvo in delujemo v javnem interesu na področju energije.
The mission of the EN-LITE Society is to strengthen energy literacy by promoting open education about energy topics. We want to contribute to the understanding that making responsible, truly sustainable decisions about energy must be based on professionally verified facts and figures. In the activities of strengthening energy literacy, we cooperate with experts from various natural science, technical and engineering, and social science fields, as well as with everyone who recognizes themselves in our mission. We support the realization of the SDG - sustainable development goal Nr. 7 (affordable and clean energy).
We are organized as a non-profit organisation and operate in the public interest in the field of energy.
