About Umanotera, The Slovenian Foundation for Sustainable Development

Umanotera, The Slovenian Foundation for Sustainable Development has been the leading NGO in the field of sustainable development in Slovenia for 30 years. During this time, it has systematically, cohesively and continuously promoted the themes of sustainable development and has worked on more than 170 projects. In 2010, Umanotera was also granted the status of a non-governmental organization (NGO) acting in the public interest in the field of environmental protection (granted by the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning) and in 2017 it was registered as a research organization.
