Being a barista was very interesting, but it also required a lot of knowledge. My interest in working in cafés led me to coffee competitions. In the first one I attended, there were 32 participants and I was able to reach the semifinals which felt amazing, then I decided to drop out of university and follow this path professionally. After a while, my interest in cooking made me take some courses in culinary university. During those two years, I had the opportunity to learn the basics and some important academic criteria about restaurants and cafés as well. In the meantime, I had the chance to work in various cafés and restaurants as a cook. In addition to my university courses and personal studies, I tried to take part in advanced classes such as: coffee courses, bartending, kitchen management, hotel beverage management,cooking courses and judging different fields of coffee competitions.In 2017 I achieved 4th place amongst 36 competitors in barista competition in Iran Coffee Festival.Since 2019, I have been a judge in Iran coffee competitions.. In all these years, I did my best to share my experience and help others start running their own cafés and restaurants successfully based on systematic methods. Every day, I learn more and more, and it is all because of my love and passion for café and restaurant, and everything I learn helps me broaden my vision.
