Lead Credit Analyst
Current• Manage team of Credit Analysts and workflow.• Complete a thorough, in-depth analysis of new credit requests, credit change requests, renewals and annual and interim relationship reviews. • Compile manual credit documentation, to be presented the Head of Credit, Credit Committee. • Challenging the information presented if not in line with credit norms / industry benchmarks. • Assessing funding for various products and ensuring the product is customised to the clients’ requirement.• Deliver meaningful, detailed credit analysis while providing efficient, timely service.• Collaborating part of a client service team, to deliver customised solutions to the client. • Communicating and relationship building with clients. • Report to the Credit Risk team findings that may have an adverse effect on loan collateral or a borrower’s ability to repay the loan and adding client to watchlist system to find ways to retain clients.• Maintain a good working knowledge of the Bank’s Credit policies, client value propositions and procedures.• Pro-actively review loan files as needed to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with lending guidelines.• Servicing three portfolios consist of Franchise businesses, agricultural and various other sectors.
