🎓I am a third year student with a strong work ethic at the University of Portsmouth, studying International Development. Throughout my degree, I have engaged in learning about the challenges facing the world, whilst taking a particular interest in women’s rights and violence against women and girls. 🫂One of my most valuable experiences is the year of volunteering I did for 1st Bedworth Girls Brigade which encouraged me to develop my leadership and adaptability skills through managing activities and supporting others. I believe I show determination and enthusiasm to overcome challenges and constantly strive to motivate myself, as well as others around me, and always bring a positive energy to the situations I am involved in.🏬I consider myself to be an extroverted person and have enhanced my oral communication and initiative skills through my part time retail job in Matalan. Since becoming a keyholder, I have pushed myself to think independently and be time efficient when closing the store, handling money and performing other administrative duties. 🌍I am highly ambitious which enables me to push myself. Furthermore, I am driven by my goal to make a difference in the world through impactful work in women’s rights and empowerment overseas.
