About Molly Hill

Molly is a seasoned executive leader with deep expertise and experience in the areas of Learning & Development, Talent Development, Talent Management, Employee Experience and Creating Inclusive Organizations.Molly joined Airbnb in June 2022 to lead a new organization, Community Development. The Airbnb Community Development team built broadly scaled, innovative learning and communications solutions that engage and create an emotional connection for Airbnb's more than 5 million Hosts across the globe. The team is focused on engaging and retaining the amazing Host community, attracting new Hosts and demonstrating a welcome environment for all Hosts and Guests. Prior to Airbnb, Molly joined Starbucks in 2015 and was the vice president of Global Learning, Development and Partner Experience focused on learning and development, leadership development, onboarding and immersion, cultural milestones, and partner experience for 350K+ Starbucks partners across the globe in roles from barista to senior vice president. Focused on creating the “green thread” which weaves its way perfectly through our partners’ journey, her team focuses on aligning all experiences to the Starbucks Mission and Values to ensure they can create the third place, a place where everyone feels warmth and belonging, for each and every partner and customer that crosses the Starbucks’ threshold. She also held the role of VP Talent where her team focused on global talent development, succession planning, executive recruiting, retail training and career development programs globally.Prior to joining Starbucks, Molly led Employee & Manager Excellence at Microsoft supporting 90K+ employees worldwide by providing core and common development solutions globally. In her previous role, supporting MS worldwide HR, she had responsibility for the areas of professional development, learning solution design and overall HR Readiness and Communication for Microsoft HR Professionals. Prior to joining Microsoft, Molly held a number of positions in Human Resources both supporting the center and the line within a number of industries from Entertainment to Hospitality, from Financial Services to Technology. She began her career at the Disneyland Resort and still holds onto those fundamentals of pure customer focus and simplicity and loves encouraging organizations to create special moments of joy for their guests and customers. Molly holds a BA in Speech Communication from the University of Washington and certificates in Organization Development and Instructional Design.
