Together we designed, developed and implemented a new digital process for applying for a Firearm Licence. I articulated user requirements following the establishment of business needs and tested the prototypes for NI Direct. Communicating the change to stakeholders was the most significant part of my role including Gun Lobby Groups. I conducted this communication through various formats and training, using visual aids such as process diagrams and step by step user guides.• Critically evaluating, analysing business need and presenting my findings were some of my duties during the second six months of placement. I evaluated internal business requests for software and hardware solutions by researching the potential benefit to the organisation while ensuring value for money. For requests requiring significant resource or financial investment, I presented them to the Senior Management Team for their opinion. -
