 Oversee the supervision, guidance, and development of the Advising, Career, Employment, Internship, and Transfer Center (ACE IT) Project leader for the informed advising initiative and the movement toward Educational Advisory Board’s Navigate student success platform Member of the Guided Pathways Project, Merit Pay Taskforce, Building Student Connections Team, Student Affairs Council, Academic Advisory Council, General Education Re-Vamp, and Advising AQIP Project Coordinates with faculty, staff, and students to ensure that advising process, training, and information are shared effectively Responsible for understanding the role of student services and development of lifelong skills for students at the community college level Coordinates efforts with special populations, part-time degree seeking, alert, probation, and transfer students Oversees entry placement, initial registration, and follow-up for first-time degree seeking students Trains and develops advising in 13 outreach service areas with the support of the Distance Learning Office Hiring Committees: Career Advisor, Director of Human Resources, Support, Disability, & Counseling Center Director, Outreach Coordinator, Volleyball/Advisor, and Women’s Basketball/Advisor, Vice President of Student Success and Athletics
