My experience working across various departments, including bakery, as an online assistant, and in a convenience store, has expanded my skill set and boosted my confidence in taking on new challenges. Balancing these roles alongside my university studies has been demanding, but has greatly enhanced my time management and interpersonal skills. Working with difficult customers has presented unique challenges, as each situation requires a tailored approach. Through this, I have utilised my teamwork abilities and developed the capacity to make quick and effective decisions in fast-paced environments. While always working collaboratively as part of a team, being appointed as the leader of the department brought additional responsibilities. It required clear and effective communication to ensure that daily operations ran smoothly and according to plan, while also maintaining the shop's standards at the highest level.

I was given the opportunity to get a further insight into the role of a sports psychologist, working at the academy. During my time here, I shadowed the psychologist, had meetings with various staff within the team, while understanding the roles and challenges that face the athletes and staff everyday. My greatest achievement from this time was, being able to do a workshop to one of the age groups. This included planning the presentation for the workshop, working with the psychologist for guidance, but also being able to present the knowledge over to the children. The main outcome were, the children being able to use this in their training and in matches, to improve their performance.
