My role as an assistant planner involved working as a member of a small team to oversee the planning process for small scale developments built from oak. In order to achieve this I managed numerous projects at different stages of the planning process. This involved the completion of planning applications, frequent negotiation with local authorities to agree on acceptable designs. I was also required to write design & access, heritage and appeal statements.During my time here I managed to prepare a GIS template that the company could use to make the process of preparing location and block plans more time efficient.
