As a Claims Adjuster, my daily routine includes, but is not limited to: - making sure follow up diaries are maintained and prioritized- maintain best practice guidelines by making initial contact with customers in a prompt timely manner- identifying proper coverage's per claim - collect intricate details of a claim; investigate and evaluate them to reach liability decisions - settle claims fairly, promptly and with good faith- recognize components that make up a total loss and guide the claim through that process accordingly - work in a team environment; bounce ideas off one another and conduct round tables. - settle minor third party liability claims- coordinate and create game plans with other adjusters before making initial contact to customers to ensure best practice standards are effectively utilized
