• Design, determine, and recommend process and protocol to ensure the development of a coordinated community response to domestic violence with respect for the prioritization of survivor safety• Conduct individual and group meetings with identified key stakeholders• Share data received from coordination meetings and identify opportunities for systems advocacy • Provide staff development training for the day to day implementation of process and protocol related to coordinated community response• Develop and coordinate agency outreach activities with priority to those that relate to coordinated community response• Develop and oversee social media campaigns• Assist with coordination and delivery of agency presentations to community partners• Attend community events and relevant meetings• Respond to and coordinate agency participation with community events• Participate in PCADV membership activities• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers• Provide in-person training to new staff members as part of their participation in Huntingdon House's Counselor/Advocate Training Program• Provide direct service when necessary

• Provide survivors with information pertaining to Protection From Abuse (PFA) Orders• Assist with the preparation and filing of PFAs• Help survivors navigate the PFA process for emergency, temporary, and final orders• Provide court accompaniment for criminal and civil proceedings• Advocate within the criminal and civil justice systems• Maintain the responsibilities expected of all Huntingdon House advocates such as backing up shelter/housing services and hotline response

• Complete intake interviews for shelter services and orient new residents to their unit and the facility• Conduct ongoing interventions, safety planning, counseling, advocacy, parenting support, information referrals, DV 101 education, and support as needed• Answer 24-hour hotline crisis calls and respond to expressed survivor needs• Maintain client records by writing daily progress notes and entering data to database and resident files• Maintain security of shelter property by monitoring entry and exit of all persons, complete house security checks, monitor security cameras, and respond to security risks when necessary• Read and write shift communication logs• Assist with the daily living needs of shelter residents• Interact with shelter residents and staff utilizing a trauma-informed, survivor centered, and anti-oppression approach• Contribute to residents’ progress on goals through regular weekly support sessions• Conduct resident exit interviews by reviewing exit plans, safety planning, administering exit survey, and providing resource referrals• Follow protocol as a mandated reporter of child abuse• Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, and maintain personal networks• Attend mandatory shelter advocate meetings as well as other required meetings and trainings• Maintain confidentiality of shelter location and residents at all times• Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of Huntingdon House

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of mental health services provided in Huntingdon County• Identify, recruit, and retain key stakeholders from across the county to develop and sustain a collaborative model of mental health services• Attend events and meetings in the community as necessary to represent VISTA project• Facilitate ongoing communication between Juniata College, community mental health agencies, and Penn Highlands Huntingdon related to project development and sustainability• Gather and update information on economic and health indicators in the county• Analyze and share data gathered on barriers to mental health services• Evaluate and implement a plan for assessing perceptions of community mental health and substance abuse needs, quality of service provided, training and educational needs, and resource needs of staff• Analyze the data collected and generate comprehensive reports• Assist with the development of a model for ongoing data sharing across key stakeholders• Create and implement a plan for regular meetings and routine communication across constituents• Coordinate with community partners and Penn Highlands Huntingdon on the development of a collaborative, problem solving process to address the priority needs identified in the data• Create and sustain groups for Juniata students, faculty, and staff related to health and well-being• Coordinate with Juniata faculty to monitor interns, fellows, and volunteers to support the ongoing work of the VISTA projects• Build and implement methods of sharing information and maintaining collaboration across stakeholders

• Oversee the other student advocates in the office• Create office hour schedules and help lead team meetings• Facilitate educational programs for all student athletes in accordance with mandatory NCAA guidelines• Develop and deliver educational programs about interpersonal violence prevention, bystander intervention, and healthy relationships• Provide confidential peer-to-peer support to Juniata students• Connect students who have experienced interpersonal violence with resources• Collaborate with local resources to foster a safe environment on campus

• Complete the hour-long Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training• Complete an additional 5-hour training for Green Dot Peer Ambassador Certification• Conduct Green Dot programs around campus to educate students on bystander intervention• Collaborate with other Green Dot Ambassadors to develop new educational materials
