With over 9 years of experience as a school counselor, safeguarding lead, and head of wellbeing, I have developed a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students, particularly in areas concerning their mental health, emotional development, and personal safety. My expertise lies in crisis intervention, managing children’s behavior, and providing essential support to students, staff, and parents through tailored guidance.In my role as a safeguarding lead, I ensure the safety and protection of all students, creating a secure environment for them to thrive. As the head of wellbeing, I focus on promoting emotional and mental health initiatives, ensuring that students’ well-being is prioritized across school activities. I am also actively involved in organizing and leading workshops that empower parents and educators to better understand and manage children’s behavior.My communication skills in both Arabic and English have been instrumental in connecting with a diverse school community, allowing me to mediate conflicts and resolve issues efficiently. I am passionate about ongoing professional development, as I continue pursuing an MSc in Psychology. Additionally, my training in positive handling and behavior management enables me to offer comprehensive and compassionate support to students, especially in challenging situations.My strengths also include developing mental health programs, leading well-being initiatives like Mental Health Week, and fostering a collaborative environment among staff.
