- Supported the metaproteomic investigation of the impact of 300 drugs on the gut microbiome and developed expertise in anaerobic bacterial cell culturing, SDS-PAGE and proteomics sample preparation and analysis .- Analyzed samples using nano LC- Q Exactive Orbitrap and performed statistical data analysis using different multivariate methods available in Perseus and iMetaLab software suites.

- Developed and validated novel LC-MS/MS methods on Agilent 1100 and 1290 LC systems connected to QTRAPS 4000 and 6500 as per FDA and EMA guidelines for the targeted metabolomic analysis of 24 biomarker metabolites in urine.- Designated SME in providing technical support to the LC-QTRAP instruments including troubleshooting, maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and training of new researchers. - Side project: Collaborated in establishing MS/MS fingerprints for cholorogenic acid isomers in fruit juices using 4 different MS platforms including FAIMS-Thermo TSQ and Agilent 6500 Q-ToF.

- Developed and validated 17 HPLC-UV, HPTLC, spectrofluorimetric, spectrophotometric methods for the quantification of drugs in raw materials, dosage forms and biological fluids for preclinical and clinical applications.

Undergraduate course, Topics in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, third year Pharmacy (500 Students) and Clinical Pharmacy (40 students) programs • Lead the redesign of the lab curricula by introducing, developing, and validating over 20 different new experiments. As a result, the lab contents were totally revolutionized to include basic and advanced modules on HPLC, UV, mass spectrometry and IR.• Co-authored new lab manuals to aid students understand the new concepts, conduct their experiments, and analyze the results. • Designed a wide variety of in-class quizzes and assignments to assess different outcomes of the learning objectives.
