Field Service Engineer
CurrentAs a Sciex Field Service Engineer I am responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing Sciex products at both internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts. I work independently to resolve all assigned customer and technical issues. I partner with Sales and Service management to drive customer satisfaction and business objectives. I also mentor and develop less experienced staff members.My Primary Responsibilities:• Complete and successfully pass assigned training tasks on assigned products and responsibilities• Expert knowledge of Sciex and OEM products• Working knowledge of applications/software workflow• Expert in performing high quality installation, repair, and maintenance on mass spectrometry instrumentation• Assigned and responsible for customer satisfaction at strategic accounts• Perform IQ/OQ and other qualification products. Includes training• Conduct special projects as directed• Leading the tracking and completion of district PMs• Assist the District Manager with identifying resource and training needs• Mentor and train less experienced staff members• Expert in HPLC installation and maintenance• Perform preventive maintenance on select products• Demonstrate and complete all administration duties• Maintain own tool and parts inventory to ensure adequate supply• Troubleshoot and resolve difficult service situations within assigned accounts
