Mona De Victoria is currently a kindergarten teacher at City and Country School. Previously, Mona worked for the Education Center at Bank Street College as a supervising curriculum consultant and implementation coach with the Department of Education's Pre-K For All Initiative. She led professional development workshops in conjunction with the partnership between Bank Street College and the Department of Education from 2014-2018. Prior to her position at Bank Street, Mona was a head teacher at a private nursery school in Manhattan from 2006-2015. She began her teaching career as an infant and toddler teacher while studying for her BA and went on to earn her MSEd from Bank Street College of Education in 2008, receiving a dual degree in Early Childhood Special and General Education. Her undergraduate degree is from the New School, where she majored in identity politics, psychology, and cultural studies.
